Welcome to Cafe Dodici, a restaurant with a mission to represent the essence of its own definition: "to restore". The intended goal of Lorraine Williams, her Italian husband, Alessandro Scipioni and Tsalika Rich is to offer more than simply a place to eat; they want to give the gift of good, wholesome food, served with the purpose of replenishing energy in an enjoyable and refined dining environment. Our restaurant's goal is to be a fulfilling dining experience on every level. Food unites families, friends and people of all backgrounds around a table; it is food that keeps your body, mind and soul healthy, rejuvenated and happy. Cafe Dodici takes pride in the quality of its food; in order for us to enjoy the life essence of what we eat, we take particular measures to ensure that our foods' natural, nourishing qualities are respected in the cooking process.

Great Italian restaurant in the middle of Iowa! The Dodici salad is excellent as are their gnocchi. Service is friendly and professional. Wine list is a little limited, but not unexpected. Try the smoked pork chop with basalmic glaze and feta! Perfectly cooked and exceptional! Great place for a family gathering.

Upscale Italian-themed diner in farm town. Quiet and pleasantly empty at lunch on a Saturday. Good service. Food was nicely prepared and well presented. Only a half hour away from Iowa City. Very expensive. $50 before tip for lunch for two. The food was good but my wife cooks just as well for a fourth of the cost.

High end Italian restaurant. Only one of its kind in town. Food is really good, but the decor might throw some people off, I'd recommend it for dinners when you want to impress someone. It's no steak restaurant, and rednecks don't like it because of that, but if you have a bit of an open mind, its great!

Sunday brunch with friends was great as usually. Cafe Dodici never disappoints. Staff is always gracious and accommodating. Food is always well made and presented.

Great spontaneous dinner. We had the bruschetta and each had the filet mignon. It was pretty busy on Saturday evening. But service was excellent. It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. Don't be in a hurry. Enjoy!

I've heard about this restaurant for a long time. My wife has been there several times for lunch. I'm glad that I finally was able to have dinner there with her. The food was beyond expectations, and my expectations were high. Only made better by a very attentive server and manager.

The best eggplant parmesan with homemade gnocchi ever! Also try the cinnamon apple strudel for the holiday season. Great ambience with outstanding professional service. This is the best of southeast Iowa.
